Do you want to sell this set? If so, I would love to buy it.
Thank you! this was very helpful!
Una maravilla del siglo XX.!!!
Does this clock use batteries? It keeps “ticking” when unplugged - but can’t get it apart enough to See … thanks!
The 4bt is awesome 😎. But damn they're heavy.
Thanks!
I just got one of these from my grand parents house. It seems to be working but would love any recommendations on someone who can look at it and make any repairs necessary.
Great video thankyou mhof_58
This one is on my list.
Feb 2024 and just got my heater down from storage and started to clean it up your Vedic sure helped me with this. When I removed and cleaned the cover on top of wick I noticed a piece with three arms that is part of the cover that sets on top of wick .my question Is: should this piece with three arms be permentally attached to cover over the wick. If so can it be fixed or it needs replacing?also can you still buy new wicks?thanks
Just watching today in 2024 and your clear explanation of all the things was great!! Thanx for making the video and sharing it with all of us on UA-cam!!
Thank you for this video. I recently acquired a DC-100 and this video helped me a lot. Keep up the good work.
Hope you get this comment, as this is an old video. I just finished recapping and I can't get the fm to track the scale right. Was it the oscillator transformer coil, or something else you had to get to fix your issue?
Y’all wouldn’t happen to from around section Al I’ve seen it before
Does the wick seam orientation really make a difference Sir ?? How about the heater when you first fire it up. Do you smell any kerosene smell at start up Red Dodge ?? Nice video too. vf
@RedDodge1968 have you ever come across a wick adjuster that has been repaired/replaced on a tank like this one? I have a Valor 525 which uses a similar tank, but my wick adjuster seems to be loose and not moving the wick. Looking for some advice to repair it.
If it is a brass tank sometimes the adjuster hardware inside the tank comes loose from people trying to force a stuck wick to adjust. Most often the perforated Steele cage on the wick breaks out where the adjuster is, and the wick doesn’t move.
@@RedDodge1968From what I can see, the adjuster hardware coming loose is what has happened. Is there a way to repair this or do I need to try to source a replacement tank?
If you showed this to someone in 1954 they would think this is real footage
20 hp thats a great engine
If I knew I had to do all this stuff I would have never gave this lady 400 bucks for ah dc100 double Clean it ain't bad though
Thank you sir for a very thorough explanation.
What a beautiful Crown Victoria ! You certainly scored with this one and only 41,000.0 miles at that. I also have a 1991 Crown Victoria, mine being a wagon with 8 passenger capacity which I purchased used in 2001 from an elderly lady who drove it to Florida every winter so it never saw salt exposure. I had a complete restoration done in 2020 with engine and transmission rebuilds and only minor body touch ups necessary to keep it factory fresh. I have also had the undercarriage spray oiled every other year to protect the body and frame and do not drive it in the winter. These Panther platform cars are some of the best ever produced by Ford in my opinion.
I have an old model 130 and the gallery is rusted solid to the tank. Your video showed my how the unit is put together and I thank you for that.
Great video. I have a heater, I beleive its a Perfection. I have a wuestion about the tank. I took it out and theres two spring clips loose in the tank. What do they do?
My grandparents had that very same Maytag w/d set.... the dryer was gas. Looks like the porcelain has worn off some areas of the white washer tub. Finding a white or blue tub (in that size) with the porcelain enamel not worn off should be reasonable easy to do by checking with some reconditioned appliance stores. Many reconditioned appliance stores sell good used parts. Replacing that tub is not really difficult to do. What a difference that Maytag w/d is compared to the PLASTIC JUNK that Whirlpool now manufactures with the Maytag brand-name on their new, modern-day appliances! Watching this vid was really a... blast from the past! Thanks for posting!!
Thanks alot !!😅

These are small floats ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx_rJB7cli5f1ofPVGgn80S7Yj4vqwq0gU recommend the package is smaller than my hand just to provide perspective. That said I wanted small floats for the times I need to add one when trout fishing or fishing for panfish. The peg is perfect for my application where I want a set hold point that is quickly adjustable and want to be able to add the float without retying. That’s the real advantage here. You can add this float to your line without retying and adjust the depth easily with the peg so it won’t kink your line like a traditionalit. If I need to set this too deep then I’d switch over to ait with a thread stop to make casting easier. But like I said, these are a great value for the price I paid. Probably better suited to applications where your depth is 5-feet or less for the sake of casting.
Cheers for the video but myself is sticking to the cotton wicks as many said that the fibreglass don't burn evenly also diesel and even veg oil can be used with the cotton wicks
Franz Buddenberg at Franz Marine Service has most of parts for this motor plus other models. Points are at 0.20". I have one that belonged to my dad. It still works fine.
How can it be that the kerosone won't rise over the wick? (Even with a full tank?
Very well presented! I'm getting ready to attempt to resurrect my deceased grandpa's Omni 15 that's been sitting in his garage half full of kerosene for around 15-20 years and after watching this I have the confidence to do so!
Love your videos found your channel through the cold starts of the buses at the school that’s the first video I saw about 5yrs ago been a fan ever since.
Mine has been driving me mad for far too long. Thanks for the tip!
I’d like to do this to an old Dodge D100
😊😂
Ty that is a video! Just got my model 1714 going!
Thank you for this excellent tutorial. I recently bought a moonlighter for 20 bucks and only needed a good wipe down and a wick. This was the first one I've ever changed and with your video it was a very smooth and easy process. Thanks again.
2004 Bluebird Freightliner ???
thank you kind sir
Couldn’t you shave down the loose fiberglass on the Kero World version? Wouldn’t that work?
My Dad's cousin owned one of these beauties.
Older than I am. That's all you need. Simple is better.
Thank you so much! I'm a first time user of a kerosene heater. And you explained things thoroughly and made it easily understandable for novice like me. Thank you again.
